Fostex Japan’s new eA speakers are expected to hit shelves sometime during the end of June. The speakers claim to fame is that they can placed on any flat surface and still produce a nice sound. Listed as open price in Japan, most electronics retailers expect the speakers to sell for ¥16,000. Available in both white and silver, the speakers can be used with an iPod, notebook PC or even a cell phone. The speakers have a 3.5mm mini jack port and are powered by an AC adapter.

Jamo recently introduced the i300 speaker system for all dockable iPods. The 2.1 system includes a standalone powered subwoofer, two compact satellite speakers, an iPod dock, and wireless remote control. “The system’s versatility extends far beyond filling your room with tunes stored on your iPod,” says Jamo. “The control dock (which charges your iPod too) is also fitted with an extra auxiliary input on its rear panel so that you can hook up your computer, portable DVD player or games console to the system.

Xbox Speakers - Pioneer Releases 600W Speaker System for Xbox 360

One of the first large accessories for the Xbox 360 is being released by Pioneer. They are making available a 600W 5.1 Sound System for the console, specifically designed to take advantage of it and offer hi-def audio. It's the Pioneer HTP-XGS1, and has a “combined” output of 600W, which is impressive for a standalone system, and is a standard 5.1 setup that provides optical, coax and analog inputs.
